Welcome to .DE RAADT. I operate this studio as an independent solo designer and maker based in Melbourne. Before purchasing from my collection, please take a moment to read the terms governing your use of this site and the purchase of my work. By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and my Privacy Policy.
 

1. Garment Details & Pricing

  • I photograph and describe every piece carefully to reflect true textures, fits, and colours. However, display calibrations vary between screens, and minor natural variations may occur in certain fabrics.

  • While many pieces are produced in limited ready-to-wear runs, select styles are crafted made-to-order. Where a piece is made to order, this will be clearly stated on the product page along with an estimated production timeframe.

  • All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly noted otherwise.

  • In the rare event of a genuine pricing or listing error, I reserve the right to correct it before fulfilling the order. I will contact you immediately to give you the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling your order for an immediate full refund.
     

2. Orders & Fulfilment

  • Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted once I send confirmation of dispatch or confirm production of your piece.

  • Because made-to-order pieces rely on limited fabric allocations and hands-on sourcing, there may be rare occasions where a specific material unexpectedly becomes unavailable or an order cannot proceed (such as if a payment cannot be verified). If this happens, I will reach out to you directly to discuss alternative options or issue an immediate, full refund.
     

3. Payment

  • All transactions are processed securely through trusted third-party payment gateways. I do not store your direct card or banking details on my site.

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the nominated payment method and authorise me to charge the full order total.
     

4. Postage & Delivery

  • Ready-to-wear pieces are dispatched promptly, and made-to-order pieces are dispatched once construction is complete. You will receive tracking information as soon as your parcel is lodged with the carrier.

  • Delivery times provided at checkout are estimates from Australia Post or nominated couriers. Delays during peak periods or due to postal disruptions are outside my direct control, but if your parcel appears delayed, missing, or arrives damaged, please email me promptly so I can investigate and ensure a resolution.
     

5. Australian Consumer Law & Returns

  • Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees, or remedies available to you under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (Australian Consumer Law).

  • If a garment has a manufacturing fault or does not meet acceptable quality standards, you are entitled to a statutory remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).

  • For voluntary sizing exchanges or care queries, please review my separate Returns & Exchanges Policy, which outlines eligibility, turnaround windows, and procedures.
     

6. Intellectual Property

  • All garment patterns, designs, imagery, written content, logos, and branding on this site are my original work or licensed to me, and remain the intellectual property of .DE RAADT.

  • You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any content or designs from this site without my prior written consent.
     

7. Website Conduct

  • You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, introduce malicious software, or compromise customer or site data.
     

8. Updates to Terms

  • I may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in my practice or relevant legal obligations. Any updates take effect from the date they are posted on the site. If you place an order, that transaction remains governed by the terms in place on the day the order was made.
     

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes relating to these terms or transactions through this site will be handled within the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
